Course Overview
The Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) is a two-year postgraduate program aimed at equipping registered nurses with advanced knowledge and skills in specialized areas of nursing practice. The program at MMM College of Nursing is designed to prepare graduates for leadership roles in clinical practice, nursing education, nursing administration, and nursing research.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. The candidate should be Registered with State Nursing Council.
2. The minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing .
3. The candidate should have undergone B.Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
4. Minimum one year of work experience in Clinical Service - hospital or in a college / school of nursing after Passing the Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course.
5. Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc.Nursing.
6. In case of male candidates they should have passed any other course recommended by the Indian Nursing Council in place of Midwifery.
7. Every candidate before admission to this course shall submit to the Principal, MMM College of Nursing a certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the Academic Programme.

Eligibility Certificate
Candidate before seeking admission at MMM College of Nursing shall obtain an Eligibility Certificate from “The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University”, Guindy, Chennai. Eligibility certificate can be applied ONLINE through University website “tnmgrmuonline.in” on payment of the prescribed fee fixed by the University.
Medical Fitness
Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit the medical fitness certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic course and has not suffered from any major disability or any contagious diseases.
Scholarship
Eligible students may apply for scholarships under the following categories:
• SC/ST
• BC/MBC
Support is also extended to students applying for scholarships from other organizations, in accordance with applicable norms.
